Alex has sung and danced her way across the stage as Baby June in Gypsy for the revered Shaw Festival in Niagara on the Lake. She has died in the arms of King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) in the blockbuster Warner Bros. movie “300”. Now she is showcasing her dance and acting skills as co-star of The Next Step.
Along the way Alexandra has starred in countless commercials, and is known for issuing the eye-roll every parent “recognizes and despises” for Rogers cell phones.
She has starred as Oona in the pilot for “Oona Explains It All For You”. She played Karen in the short film “Four Sisters”, is in a much recognized Shoppers Drug Mart print campaign and is seen on the big screen in a theatre advertising campaign for Health Canada.
As an award winning competitive dancer Alex, with her strength in lyrical and jazz, is enjoying putting her dance skills to the test in TNS, and the discipline of the set is good practice as she continues her studies at University as an Ontario Scholar.
Alex is a much sought after speaker and devotes considerable time to mentoring young girls through the Young Women on the Move program among others.
Alexandra loves to dance and stay fit through a variety of sports, including her newest activity, aerial silks. She has a passion for reading, music and people, especially her younger sister Sophie.
